Position Summary:
- The IT Specialist – Helpdesk will be responsible for providing technical assistance, resolving IT-related issues, managing user support tickets, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills, customer service expertise, and hands-on experience in IT support systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level IT support for end users through phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Manage and maintain Office 365 accounts and services.
- Handle procurement and licensing of laptops and related IT equipment.
- Maintain IT support documentation and update the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff when required.
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure timely resolution of support requests.
- Assist in IT support management, system updates, and asset tracking.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk operations.
- Proven experience in customer service, IT support, and IT support management.
- Hands-on experience with Office 365, ticketing systems, troubleshooting, and license procurement of laptops.
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
