Overview
We are seeking a versatile and forward‑thinking IT Specialist to support our technology infrastructure and digital presence. This role is ideal for someone who understands the fast‑paced world of freight and logistics and can translate operational needs into clean, intuitive dashboards and digital tools. You will also manage and update company websites to ensure our brand, services, and technology remain modern, reliable, and competitive.
Key Responsibilities
1. Dashboard Development & Data Visualization
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards for freight operations, including:
- Load tracking
- Carrier performance
- Customer KPIs
- Financial and operational analytics
- Integrate data from TMS, CRM, ELDs, APIs, spreadsheets, and third‑party logistics tools.
- Automate reporting workflows to reduce manual work and improve decision‑making.
- Ensure dashboards are user‑friendly, accurate, and optimized for both internal teams and clients.
- 2. Website Management & Digital Updates
- Maintain, update, and optimize company websites (WordPress, Sanity ,AWS or similar platforms).
- Implement new pages, service descriptions, landing pages, and blog posts.
- Ensure website security, uptime, and performance.
- Manage SEO basics, analytics tracking, and content updates.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure branding and messaging remain consistent.
3. Systems & Technical Support4. Automation & Process Improvement
- Provide general IT support for internal teams (software setup, troubleshooting, integrations).
- Assist with onboarding new tools, platforms, and automation systems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and basic network or cloud configurations.
- Support integration between TMS, CRM, phone systems, and communication tools.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows using automation tools (Zapier, Make, Power Automate, etc.).
- Build simple internal tools or scripts to reduce repetitive tasks.
- Recommend technology improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience building dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar.
- Strong understanding of data structures, APIs, and integrations.
- Proficiency with website CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Wix, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (bonus if comfortable with more advanced development).
- Familiarity with logistics, freight brokerage, dispatching, or transportation data.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TMS platforms
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Slack etc.
- Understanding of EDI/API integrations in logistics.
- Experience with SEO, analytics, and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to manage small IT projects from concept to deployment.
