IT Specialist responsible for managing and maintaining all IT infrastructure, systems, and applications supporting park operations, ticketing, POS, surveillance, guest Wi-Fi, and back-office systems to ensure seamless daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure & Network Management
- Manage LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi networks
- Maintain structured cabling and IDF/MDF rooms
- Ensure high availability of internet connectivity
- Monitor network performance and uptime
2. POS & Ticketing Systems
- Support ticketing systems and access control gates
- Maintain POS terminals across outlets and kiosks
- Troubleshoot payment gateway issues
- Coordinate with vendors for system upgrades
3. Server & Systems Administration
- Manage Windows/Linux servers
- Oversee Active Directory and user access controls
- Maintain backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Apply system patches and updates
4. CCTV & Security Systems (preferred)
- Monitor and maintain surveillance systems
- Ensure recording retention compliance
- Coordinate with security team for incident support
5. Guest Technology Services
- Manage guest Wi-Fi access and performance
- Support digital signage and interactive displays
- Ensure seamless experience for mobile apps and kiosks
6. Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Implement endpoint protection and firewall policies
- Monitor for security threats and vulnerabilities
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies
- Maintain asset inventory and access logs
7. Helpdesk & User Support
- Provide Level 1 & Level 2 support
- Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Support office staff, F&B, ticketing, and operations teams
- Maintain service desk documentation
8. Vendor & Project Coordination
- Liaise with IT vendors and system integrators
- Support new ride/system technology deployments
- Manage IT-related procurement
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, Firewall)
- Experience with POS and ticketing platforms
- Knowledge of CCTV and access control systems
- Backup & disaster recovery management
- Basic cybersecurity knowledge
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3–5 years’ experience in hospitality, theme park, retail, or FEC environment
- Certifications (preferred):
- Microsoft / Azure
- Cisco CCNA
- ITIL Foundation
