Role: IT Support
Experience: 10+ years
Should be available in UAE for face-to-face interview.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, chat, remote tools, or in person.
- Log, categorize, and track support tickets in the ITSM/Helpdesk system to ensure timely resolution within SLA.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on Windows and macOS platforms.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Assist end users with issues related to applications, system access, and connectivity.
- Resolve software-related issues using remote support tools such as TeamViewer or AnyDesk.
- Apply software patches, updates, and support hardware rollouts.
- Configure VPN accounts and troubleshoot network and printer connectivity issues.
- Perform domain joining of end-user devices and manage Active Directory user operations (account creation, password resets, group assignments, etc.).
- Administer and configure Microsoft 365 applications and features.
- Create system images and restore images to new HDD/SSD using imaging tools.
- Install and troubleshoot operating systems and resolve related issues.
- Work with the network team to implement NAC policies and ensure device compliance.
- Configure Outlook profiles with OST/PST files and resolve email-related issues.
- Escalate unresolved tickets to Level 2 or Level 3 support teams when necessary.
- Document common issues and solutions in the knowledge base for process improvement.
- Support onboarding and offboarding procedures, including account provisioning and device setup/collection.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security practices, and operational standards.
- Working knowledge of DHCP, DNS, VPNs, directory services, and system administration fundamentals.
