Position: IT Support

Reports to: IT Manager / IT Supervisor

Overview

The IT Support staff is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to employees for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues. The role ensures smooth daily operations by resolving technical problems, maintaining IT equipment, and supporting the organization’s technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, business applications, and IT equipment.
  • Assist employees with login issues, password resets, email configuration, and system access.
  • Maintain and update IT asset inventory (devices, licenses, equipment).
  • Ensure all systems comply with IT policies, data security standards, and best practices.
  • Support network setup, Wi-Fi connectivity, and basic server-related tasks under supervision.
  • Perform regular system updates, antivirus checks, and data backup verifications.
  • Provide remote support for off-site employees or branches when required.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, replacements, or software solutions.
  • Document all support requests, resolutions, and system changes.
  • Assist in setting up new workstations for new joiners (email, software, hardware).
  • Support IT projects such as system upgrades, equipment installations, and migrations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
