Job Overview

To support our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Support Analyst to join our team. This is a full-time position, perfect for an individual who is passionate about technology and enjoys solving problems.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all IT-related queries and will be responsible for maintaining the stability and efficiency of our internal IT systems. You will provide essential support to our employees, ensuring our technological infrastructure runs smoothly and effectively supports our business operations.
Responsibilities
* Provide first and second-line technical support to all staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
* Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems (Windows/macOS), office productivity suites (Microsoft 365), and other business-specific applications.
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within our systems, including Active Directory and email platforms.
* Assist with the maintenance of our IT asset inventory, tracking hardware and software licences.
* Support and troubleshoot point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail-specific technology.
* Escalate complex technical issues to senior team members or external vendors when necessary, ensuring timely resolution.
* Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation for IT processes, procedures, and user guides.
* Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, office moves, and new technology rollouts.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar IT support or helpdesk role.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and the Microsoft 365 suite.
* A solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
* Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing PC hardware.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a logical, methodical approach to issue resolution.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-service focus.
* The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
* Experience working in a retail environment and supporting POS systems is highly desirable.
* Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) would be an advantage.
