Position Summary:

The IT Support Assistant will provide technical support to users by researching and answering questions; troubleshooting problems; maintaining workstation and LAN performance.

• Provide answers to users by identifying problems; researching answers; guiding users through corrective steps.
• Configure/install computer hardware for all MBH users.
• Writing and maintaining user documentation.
• Help with ongoing IT process by developing/maintaining user training.
• Monitors compliance and service agreements.
• Improves system performance by identifying problems; recommending changes.
• Keep detailed records of computer/equipment inventory, user information in a secure environment.
• Support the roll out of new applications/processes.
• Manage cell phones (activation; billing reporting).

Requirements:

• LAN knowledge preferred
• Help desk experience preferred
• Operating systems experience preferred
• Systems administration experience preferred
• Phone skills
• Customer service
• Ability to problem solve
• PC Proficiency
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks at one time.
