IT Support Coordinator

Work Schedule

  • Full-time role
  • Standard business hours with occasional on-call support as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritize IT support requests to ensure timely resolution
  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring uptime and performance
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or vendors
  • Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations
  • Document support tickets, solutions, and IT procedures
  • Assist with system upgrades, installations, and IT projects
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of employees (equipment setup, access, etc.)
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and equipment

Skills for This Role

  • Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common business applications
  • Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Helpdesk or ticketing system experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Time management and task prioritization
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Attention to detail and documentation skills

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a user-focused mindset
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus but not required
