IT Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to manage and support our IT infrastructure. This includes server administration, operating system installation, firewall security management, and desktop/laptop support. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems, secure network environments, and timely technical support for end users.

Key Responsibilities:

Server and OS Support

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers.
• Perform routine server backups, patching, and performance tuning.
• Monitor system health and proactively resolve server-related issues.
• Implement and maintain virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V, etc.).

Operating System Installation and Maintenance

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows/Linux OS on servers and end-user systems.
• Maintain updated OS versions and apply necessary security patches.

Firewall and Network Security

• Configure and manage firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, SonicWall, Cisco ASA).
• Monitor firewall logs and implement security rules and policies.
• Conduct regular security audits and assist in vulnerability assessments.
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT security protocols.

Desktop and Laptop Support

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues, application installations, and driver updates.
• Manage and maintain asset inventory and support documentation.

User and Service Support

• Provide Level 1 & 2 support to internal users, both onsite and remotely.

Set up and configure new users, email accounts, and access permissions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
