Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented IT Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support to end users. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain IT infrastructure, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support via in-person, phone, email, or remote tools

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

Troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, macOS, Microsoft Office 365, and networking

Manage user accounts in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and related systems

Monitor and maintain IT systems, including servers, backups, and security tools

Maintain and update tickets, documentation, and IT procedures

Assist with employee IT onboarding and offboarding

Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure policy compliance

Support IT projects, system upgrades, and deployments

Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term improvements

Required Qualifications

Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

1–2 years of experience in IT Support / Helpdesk role

Good knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, networking basics, and PC hardware

Experience with Active Directory, VPN, remote desktop tools, and antivirus software

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certification (preferred)

Experience with ticketing tools (Zendesk, ServiceNow, Freshservice, etc.)

Knowledge of macOS, Linux, PowerShell, or basic scripting

Exposure to cloud services, virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V), or ITIL practices
