IT Support Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to provide end-to-end technical support for our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT systems, supporting users, ensuring smooth network connectivity, managing Microsoft 365 services, and handling backup and recovery operations.

This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

IT & End-User Support

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Windows systems
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications
  • Resolve performance issues, system errors, and malware-related problems

Networking & Connectivity Support

  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN and WiFi connectivity issues
  • Configure and support VPN access for remote users
  • Diagnose and resolve network-related problems
  • Ensure stable internet and internal network connectivity

Microsoft 365 Support

  • Manage user accounts, licensing, and permissions
  • Provide support for Outlook, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 applications
  • Troubleshoot email, login, and synchronization issues
  • Assist with user onboarding and offboarding in M365 environment

Backup & Data Recovery

  • Monitor and manage system and server backups
  • Perform data restoration and recovery when required
  • Ensure backup integrity and reliability across systems
  • Support disaster recovery processes when needed

General IT Operations

  • Maintain IT documentation and support records
  • Assist in implementing IT policies and best practices
  • Collaborate with teams to improve IT infrastructure performance
  • Ensure timely resolution of support tickets

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS environments
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, VPN, WiFi)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting
  • Basic knowledge of backup and recovery processes
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple issues
