IT Support Engineer

Full job description

We're looking for a skilled IT Support Engineer that handles Core Network functions, with expertise in Cisco, Firewall, Mobility controllers, Wi-Fi connectivity, and network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Provision devices using Cisco, Aruba,
• Ensure Wi-Fi connectivity with Aruba APs, including site surveys and documentation
• Monitor network availability and create tickets for L3 support
• Handle L1 & L2 troubleshooting for the complete solution
• Configure AP profiles, groups, and policies as needed
• Implement L2 authentication (SSID, MAC, 802.1x, WEP) and L3 authentication (Captive Portal)
• Implement and configure new core devices (Controllers, NMSs, Routers, SWs, FWs, etc.)
• Conduct performance monitoring, reporting, and optimizations

Qualifications Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3+ Years of relevant experience.
• Should have excellent knowledge in IPv4, IPv6, routing, switching, various topologies, Access points, WLAN Controllers, in-Home Router, IPv4 / IPv6, TR-069, IPSEC, QoS, 802.11.
• Excellent knowledge in routing, switching protocols. Knowledge in SNMP, RADIUS, CAPWAP, LWAP protocols is a plus.
• Experience writing and developing detailed test cases and test plans.
• Must possess expert skills and experience with server, desktop operating systems and applications (Windows, Linux).
• Strong work ethic with a desire to meet and exceed personal and business goals.
• Expert level communication, documentation, teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED 3000 - AED 4,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Cisco Routing & Swicting
• Aruba Wireless Systems
• Networking: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• UAE Driving License (Must)
• Personal Car
