IT Support Engineer (Level – I)

Position Overview:

Cybernet is seeking two (2) proactive and technically sound IT Support Engineers to join our Data Centre Operations team. This role involves providing comprehensive IT support to StormFiber and Cybernet teams, including both on-site troubleshooting and nationwide remote assistance.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

· Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems including Windows, Linux, and macOS.

· Assemble, disassemble, and maintain computer hardware components.

· Install software, configure Microsoft Outlook, and manage data backups.

· Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and oversee software licensing.

· Support and monitor CCTV systems, NVR / DVR, and access control systems.

· Administer LAN infrastructure and ensure stable and secure network operations.

· Perform Ethernet cable structuring and physical network setups.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Experience: 1–2 years of relevant IT support experience preferred (fresh graduates with strong skills may also be considered).

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in hardware/software troubleshooting, networking, and system installations.

· Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess issues, identify solutions, and implement corrective actions efficiently.

· Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination.

· Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting abilities with a solution-oriented mindset.

· Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
