Vacancy Description

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer/System Administrator.

As IT Support Engineer, you will be the go-to technical support specialist for ~50+ employees (engineering, security, operations, and leadership teams). You’ll own end-to-end user lifecycle, endpoint management, Google Workspace administration, hardware/software troubleshooting, and daily operational support — ensuring seamless productivity while maintaining high security and compliance standards in a regulated Web3 environment.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of hands-on IT support experience in a professional environment (fintech, tech startup)
  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace administration (user provisioning, groups, Drive permissions, security settings, Endpoint Management)
  • Solid experience supporting macOS and Windows 11 endpoints — imaging, troubleshooting, software deployment
  • Familiarity with MDM solutions (Google Endpoint Management, Intune, Jamf, or similar) for device compliance and remote management
  • Basic understanding of IT security best practices: MFA, encryption, least privilege, endpoint protection
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills — ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users (engineers, compliance, executives)
  • Organized and detail-oriented — capable of managing tickets, documentation, and hardware inventory
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience

Would be a plus

  • Experience with ticketing systems (Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow) and basic scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Google Apps Script) for automation
  • Knowledge of endpoint security tools (EDR like Microsoft Defender, antivirus, DLP)
  • Previous role supporting remote/hybrid teams (UAE or international)

Responsibilities

User Lifecycle Management:

Execute full onboarding for new hires (Day 1 readiness):

  • Provision Google Workspace accounts (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet) with correct group memberships and security settings
  • Image and configure corporate laptops (macOS & Windows) with required software, security tools, and compliance profiles
  • Enroll devices in MDM (Google Endpoint Management/ any) and enforce MFA/2FA
  • Grant access to internal tools, distribution lists, shared drives, and collaboration

  • Suspend/deactivate Google Workspace accounts and revoke access
  • Wipe and recover corporate laptops/assets
  • Set up email forwarding/aliases and data handover to team/manager

Endpoint & Hardware Support:

  • Manage and troubleshoot corporate endpoints (macOS & Windows 11) — including software installation, updates, printer setup, Wi-Fi connectivity (corporate & guest networks), and peripheral issues
  • Administer Google Endpoint Management (MDM) for device compliance, remote lock/wipe, app restrictions, and encryption enforcement
  • Provide first-line support for Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive sharing, Calendar, Meet, Docs/Sheets collaboration) — resolve access, sync, and permission issues
  • Maintain hardware inventory, track assets, and coordinate repairs/replacements

Daily IT Operations & Troubleshooting:

  • Serve as Tier 1/2 support for all employee IT issues (hardware, software, connectivity, SaaS tools) via ticket system
  • Monitor endpoint health, security alerts (e.g., from Google Endpoint Management), and user-reported incidents — escalate to security team when needed
  • Support secure file sharing and collaboration using Google Workspace corporate accounts (no personal Gmail usage allowed)
  • Support quarterly compliance checks (e.g., endpoint encryption, MFA enforcement, log reviews)
