- Install, configure, and troubleshoot restaurant POS systems, kitchen display systems (KDS), online ordering integrations, and payment terminals.
- Coordinate with POS vendors for escalations and upgrades.
- Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, routers, and CCTVs.
- Perform installation, upgrades, and maintenance of software and operating systems.
- Monitor performance and ensure timely patching and anti-virus updates.
- Troubleshoot internet connectivity issues across restaurant branches.
- Monitor and maintain network devices (firewalls, access points, switches).
- Serve as the first point of contact for outlet staff for all IT-related issues.
- Train restaurant staff on basic IT processes, POS usage, and system best practices.
- Support data backup and recovery processes.
- Monitor unauthorized access attempts and suspicious activities.
- Support IT needs during restaurant openings, renovations, or relocations.
- Provide on-call support during peak hours, weekends, and holidays (as needed).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1–3 years of IT support experience, preferably in the restaurant or retail sector.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations technology.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
