Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Executive IT Support (Night Shift) to join the IT Department at Level 3 BOS (Pvt.) Ltd., DHA Karachi. The role involves providing comprehensive support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, responding to user inquiries, and delivering effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to all employees encountering IT or computer-related issues.
  • Create, update, and manage user accounts and services across multiple cloud platforms.
  • Offer technical support via phone, in-person, and remote tools.
  • Manage and administer systems such as Active Directory, Azure, SharePoint, Exchange, Office 365, Endpoints, firewalls, load balancers, email filtering, backups, phone systems, and mobile devices.
  • Set up and configure Office 365, including devices, email clients, computers, and mobile phones.
  • Work with virtual desktop infrastructures and remote desktop technologies.
  • Configure, deploy, and relocate desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware.
  • Detect, report, and respond to cybersecurity risks.
  • Install and configure advanced firewalls and network switches.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and document end-user issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality resolution of all support requests.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and meet established deadlines.
  • Prepare technical documentation for system configurations and procedures.
  • Coordinate with telecom vendors and prepare scopes of work for technical projects.
  • Perform routine cabling and equipment installations.
  • Liaise with service providers and technology vendors for issue resolution.
  • Research, design, and implement new technical solutions based on user needs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken, written, and reading).
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in IT support or help desk roles.
  • Certifications such as A+, Network+, or Microsoft are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware, software, and network setup and configuration.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows Servers, VMware, Hyper-V, Windows 10/11, and Office 365.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven, eager to learn, and solution-oriented.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing and cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience with wireless networks, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with video conferencing tools, mobile devices (iOS, Android), and other commonly used hardware/software.
  • Experience providing remote support using phone and remote access tools.
  • Background in configuring iPads, iPhones, and enterprise-level mobile devices preferred.
  • Experience with telecom systems, structured cabling, switches, cameras, and access points.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, extended hours, and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, with growth opportunities available within the IT department.
