About The Role
We are looking for an IT Support Intern who will be the initial point of contact for any end-users who want technical assistance. You will work closely with the IT team to provide technical support to employees, troubleshoot issues, and maintain hardware and software systems.
What You'll Do

Act as the first line end user support.

Receive and handle support tickets on the IT service management system

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.

Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems, including operating systems, productivity applications, and security tools.

Assist with the maintenance of IT-related systems and data, including user accounts, security groups, and access controls.

Participate in the development of IT policies and procedures, and assist with the documentation of IT-related processes in the Knowledge base.

Responsible for setting up and maintaining accessories and peripherals such as printers, monitors, and A/V systems

Assist with inventory management and tracking of consumables.

Communicate technical information to non-technical users in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications

Bachelors or Diploma Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows 10/11 and MacOS, and productivity applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Basic knowledge of computer networks.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide technical support to non-technical users.
