About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support and Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a "young aspirant" with a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in the UAE. This role requires a strong technical background in IT support, networking, server management, firewalls, and hardware. Crucially, you must have experience with the Abu Dhabi Healthcare Information and Cyber Security (ADHICS) Standard, as this will be a key part of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Management: Install, configure, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and access points. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal uptime.
• Server Administration: Manage and maintain company servers (Windows, Linux, etc.), including regular updates, patching, and performance tuning.
• Firewall & Security: Implement and manage firewall policies, conduct regular security checks, and respond to security incidents.
• Hardware Support: Provide hands-on support for all IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• ADHICS Compliance: Ensure all IT infrastructure and systems adhere to the ADHICS framework, including data protection, access controls, and incident management protocols.
• Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues, providing timely and effective support to end-users.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the network, systems, and all support procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as an IT Support/Network Engineer in the UAE.
• Proven experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of server administration (Active Directory, virtualization, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with firewall configuration and security best practices.
• Strong background in hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Demonstrable experience with ADHICS compliance is a must. Candidates without this specific experience will not be considered.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MCSA) are highly desirable.
