Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Officer with 6 Months or 1 years of experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on support for end-users, assist with system maintenance, and help ensure smooth IT operations across the organization. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and troubleshooting a wide range of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person

Install, configure, and maintain hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices) and software

Manage and support user accounts, passwords, and access rights in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, etc.

Assist with network troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi)

Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees (hardware setup, software access, etc.)

Assist with IT asset inventory, procurement, and documentation

Collaborate with senior IT staff on system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks

Ensure adherence to IT policies, procedures, and security best practices

Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams when necessary

Requirements:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

6 Months or 1 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical support role

Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and desktop support

Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Strong customer service orientation

Preferred Qualifications:

IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft MTA/MCSA, or similar
