IT Support Officer

Job Summary:

We’re currently looking for an IT Support Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide day-to-day technical assistance to staff, resolve hardware, software, and network issues, and ensure smooth system performance. This role involves installing and maintaining computer systems, updating software, and keeping detailed records of technical issues and solutions. The IT Support Officer will also collaborate with other departments to meet organizational IT needs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day technical support to staff
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues
• Install and configure computer systems and applications
• Maintain system performance and updates
• Keep documentation of issues and solutions
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure IT needs are met

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 1 to 2 years of experience in IT Support
• Good understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, IP addressing, routers, etc.)
• Should be able to handle software-related issues (installation, troubleshooting, updates, etc.)
• If you have knowledge of any programming language, that will be considered a plus point
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

Duty Time: 10 hours per day

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Off Days: 4 off per month (Alternative Sundays included)

Food: Provided by the company

Location: Khadda Market, Defence Phase 5, Karachi

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
