Job Title: IT Support Officer

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to hospital staff for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and hospital management software.
- Monitor network performance and ensure reliable internet connectivity and data backup.
- Maintain and troubleshoot servers, biometric devices, CCTV systems, and other IT equipment.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions in coordination with system administrators.
- Document technical issues and solutions, and escalate complex problems when necessary.
- Ensure data security protocols are followed and assist in IT audits or compliance checks.
- Provide support during software upgrades, system integrations, or hospital-wide digital initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in an IT support role (experience in healthcare or hospital settings is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, networking, and IT troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with hospital management systems (HMS) and basic server management preferred.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented mindset.
