Role Summary
An IT Support Officer with ERP Development Skills is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, and ensuring smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. Additionally, the role involves customizing, developing, and maintaining ERP systems (such as Odoo, SAP, or Oracle) to meet business requirements, improve efficiency, and integrate workflows across departments. This dual role combines end-user support with ERP system enhancement to align IT solutions with organizational goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesIT Support & Infrastructure
· - Provide first and second-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
· - Monitor IT systems to ensure security, availability, and performance.
· - Install, configure, and maintain laptops, printers, and IT peripherals.
· - Support users with troubleshooting, password resets, and access issues.
ERP Development & Customization
· - Develop, customize, and maintain ERP modules (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle).
· - Analyze business requirements and translate them into ERP workflows.
· - Implement automation, reporting, and dashboards to improve efficiency.
· - Integrate ERP with other business applications where required.
Database & Systems Management
· - Maintain ERP database integrity, backups, and recovery plans.
· - Optimize system performance and troubleshoot ERP-related issues.
· - Ensure compliance with data security and access policies.
Training & User Support
· - Train staff on ERP system functionalities and new features.
· - Prepare user manuals, guides, and documentation.
· - Gather feedback from users to improve system usability and performance.
Project Management & Coordination
· - Assist in IT and ERP-related projects, ensuring timely delivery.
· - Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and internal teams.
· - Support upgrades, migrations, and new ERP module implementations.
Skills & Competencies
· - Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Odoo preferred; SAP/Oracle is a plus).
· - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ERP customization tools.
· - Good understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, security).
· - Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
· - Excellent communication and training skills.
· - Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
· - Knowledge of data migration, API integration, and reporting tools.

· - System uptime and IT support response time.
· - Number of resolved IT support tickets within SLA.
· - Successful ERP customizations and module implementations.
