IT Support Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled IT Support Specialist with strong technical expertise in IT systems, networks, CCTV, and SIRA-related operations. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent IT-related bachelor’s degree, and have hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure, security systems, and surveillance equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily IT support across the company including desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, access points, and network security systems.
• Manage CCTV systems including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, NVR/DVR handling, and monitoring performance.
• Handle all network camera setups, IP configuration, recording backups, and regular maintenance.
• Perform network cabling, fiber/UTP cabling, patching, labeling, and cable management.
• Manage and maintain servers, backup systems, firewalls, and IT security protocols.
• Handle SIRA-related tasks including CCTV compliance, security system checks, and coordination with SIRA requirements.
• Install and manage biometric access control systems, attendance systems, and door access devices.
• Regularly monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth business operations.
• Maintain documentation of IT assets, network diagrams, and technical reports.
• Support users with hardware/software issues and provide training when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT-related bachelor’s degree (mandatory).
• Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience in IT support, networks, and CCTV systems.
• Strong knowledge of network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Experience in CCTV installation, network cameras, and NVR/DVR management.
• Experience with cabling, network layout, and cable management.
• Knowledge of SIRA standards and previous SIRA-related work (preferred).
• Understanding of server administration, backup solutions, and IT security.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• SIRA certification or experience with SIRA inspections.
• Experience with access control and biometric systems.
• Basic knowledge of VoIP phones and PBX systems.
• Knowledge of cloud services and virtualization (optional but beneficial).
