Job Description:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate must be locally available and ready to join immediately, with strong technical skills in providing end-user support and maintaining IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users (hardware, software, and network issues)
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (Active Directory, email systems)
- Support Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and common business applications
- Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and service logs
- Assist in network setup, including routers, switches, and Wi-Fi configurations
- Ensure security and data protection measures are implemented
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking
- Familiarity with Active Directory, printers, and remote support tools
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Must be currently residing in Bahrain
- Available for immediate joining
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus
- Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL practices is an advantage
