Job Summary:
We’re looking for a curious, service-minded IT Support Specialist to join our Boise team. You’ll be the first point of contact for 700+ employees where you will be troubleshooting day-to-day tech issues, setting up equipment, and keeping things running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience across hardware, Microsoft 365, and device management in a fast-paced environment.
End-User Support

Respond to help desk tickets and walk-up requests from office employees

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows and macOS devices

Escalate complex issues to senior team members and follow through to resolution

Keep users and management informed on ticket status
Hardware & Equipment

Image, configure, and deploy laptops and workstations for new hires

Perform basic hardware repairs (RAM, hard drives, peripherals)

Unbox, inventory, and asset-tag incoming equipment

Set up displays, AV equipment, and standing desks
Device & Account Management

Onboard devices using Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Intune

Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Azure AD/Entra ID (password resets, unlocks, group membership)

Support basic Exchange/M365 tasks like shared mailboxes and distribution lists
Documentation

Keep knowledge base articles and SOPs accurate and up to date

Document recurring issues and contribute to process improvements

1–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related role (internships and coursework count!)

Familiarity with Windows 10/11, MAC OS, and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)

Basic understanding of Active Directory, Azure / Entra ID and user account management

Comfortable setting up and troubleshooting hardware

Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude

Organized, reliable, and able to juggle multiple requests

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

CompTIA A+ or working toward it

Exposure to Intune, Autopilot, or Jamf

Any scripting or command-line experience (PowerShell, Terminal)
Education

Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field — OR equivalent hands-on experience or certifications
