IT Support Specialist Intern

Looking to kick-start your IT career and gain real-world experience supporting both office and warehouse technology? EFC International is looking for an IT Support Intern who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with users, and learning how IT keeps a business running.

This is a hands-on opportunity to build practical experience in desktop support, device deployment, and troubleshooting across a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
Provide first-level technical support in a Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environment while assisting employees with hardware, software, and connectivity issues. You’ll work with Dell laptops and desktops, perform hardware diagnostics, and help replace components when needed.

You’ll also help provision new devices using Microsoft Autopilot, maintain accurate ticket documentation and IT inventory records, and support Zebra barcode printers and RF devices used in warehouse operations. This role works closely with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues quickly and keep operations running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For
Junior or Senior students pursuing a degree in Information Technology or a related field who are eager to gain hands-on experience. Candidates should have basic knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory, along with some hardware troubleshooting experience. Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP) is a plus.

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are key since you’ll be working directly with users across the organization.
