We are seeking an IT Support Technician for our New York office! The IT Support Technician is responsible for maintaining and monitoring end-user workstations and productivity on local area network. The IT Support Technician performs a variety of maintenance, software installation, end-user support and training tasks to ensure end-user workstations and network performance meet company and user requirements. The position also provides support to staff on all company-supported applications. The IT Support Technician troubleshoots computer problems, determines sources and advises on appropriate action. The position completes application project-based work.

Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves problems for users, computer software and hardware; communicates solutions to end-users

Provides one on one end-user problem resolution via telephone, email or in person

Delivers, tags, sets up, and assists in the configurations of end-user PC desktop/laptop hardware, software, and peripherals

Diagnoses and resolves end-user network or local printer problems, PC hardware, software, internet, and local-area network access problems

Coordinates timely repair of PC/laptop computers

Performs minor desktop/laptop hardware repair

Assists Network Technicians and Support Analysts in creating materials for end-user frequently asked questions (FAQ’s)

Performs other duties as required

The expected salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $70,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
