Job Title: IT Support Technician

Experience: 2–3 Years
Location: Johar Town, Lahore
Shift Timings: 12:00 PM to 09:00 PM

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure smooth IT operations across the organization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in hardware/software support, network troubleshooting, and user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level and second-level technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity problems.
  • Manage and monitor user accounts, email setups, and access permissions.
  • Ensure timely logging, tracking, and resolution of IT support tickets.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
  • Perform system updates, antivirus checks, and routine maintenance activities.
  • Support the setup of projectors, video conferencing tools, and meeting room equipment.
  • Coordinate with senior IT staff for network, server, or security-related escalations.
  • Assist with backup routines, data recovery, and system security monitoring.
  • Ensure IT policies, procedures, and security best practices are followed.
  • Provide remote assistance to staff when required.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and user guides.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in IT support or technical assistance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking.
  • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls (basic knowledge acceptable).
  • Familiarity with helpdesk/ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of system backups, antivirus tools, and IT security practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and prioritize urgent issues.
