Job Overview

As an IT Support Technician, you will be the go-to person for all technical issues within the company. You will ensure optimal performance of hardware, software, and network systems, and provide timely technical support to staff. Additionally, you will help plan and implement IT upgrades, maintain security, and assist with onboarding new users.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Respond promptly to IT service issues and requests, providing solutions in person, remotely, or over the phone.
• Set up accounts and access for new employees.
• Repair, troubleshoot, and replace faulty equipment as needed.
• Test and evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation and logs.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff or less tech-savvy team members.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in IT support or a related role.
• Diploma or Intermediate in Information Technology or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with hardware, software, printers, scanners, and network configuration.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A proactive, solution-oriented attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
