POSITION: IT Support Technician
DEPARTMENT: Administration
SUPERVISOR: IT Director
- JOB SUMMARY: Provide general technical support for all agency computers and other IT related hardware/software
- SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Provide Helpdesk computer and phone support to all agency employees including EMR and EHR.
- Install computer hardware, software, and phone equipment as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
- REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates Degree in IT or related field OR equivalent technical certification(s)
- At least two years of computer work experience
- Specific IT training and/or certification(s) in Windows Server, SQL Server, and Exchange Server preferred
- ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Knowledge of computer equipment, Microsoft Windows Desktop/Server software, Administrative/Communication Tools (Active Directory, Exchange, Print servers, Remote Desktop)
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking
- Demonstrated technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to accurately carry out required tasks in a timely manner
- Willing to work flexible hours if necessary
- Ability to schedule and use available time effectively
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Travel when necessary to fulfill the corporation’s needs
- Must be bondable
- Other duties as assigned
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and often high-stress environment as well as the ability to adapt quickly to workload changes
- Ability to deal with inside and outside clientele and vendors in a diplomatic and courteous manner while assuring adherence to CAA policies/procedures
- Above average oral, reading and writing skills to accurately operate a computer, perform necessary documentation and effectively communicate with staff, clients, customers, business partners, other CAA departments and visitors
- Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to push, pull, carry, lift, bend, twist, reach, sit, stand for lengthy periods of time; ability to walk for extended periods of time.
- WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Various noises associated with a busy clinical setting
- Numerous interruptions
- Constantly changing medical environment
- Ability to work at varying locations and with varying staff members as assigned
- Ability to remain calm and cheerful under stressful working conditions
- Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, toxic substances, medicinal preparations, radiation and other conditions common to a clinical environment
- Exposure to chemicals and substances common to an office setting
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Education:
Experience:
- Help desk: 2 years (Preferred)
- Windows Desktop/Server/Active Directory/Exchange: 2 years (Preferred)
