IT Support Technician I (Tech 1)

Job Overview

Peak IT is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Tech 1 Support Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, problem-solving, and helping others in a fast-paced environment.

The Tech 1 role provides first-level IT support for end users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, Microsoft 365, printers, and basic network issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic technical support to users remotely and onsite
  • Troubleshoot computers, printers, email, and connectivity issues
  • Set up workstations, user accounts, and equipment
  • Document and manage support tickets
  • Escalate advanced issues to senior technicians
  • Deliver professional and friendly customer service

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Willingness to learn and grow in IT
  • Prior IT or customer service experience preferred

Preferred (Not Required)

  • CompTIA A+ certification
  • Experience with ticketing systems or remote support tools
  • Familiarity with networking concept
  • Familiarity with AutoTask

Pay: DOE
Schedule: Full-time
