IT Support Technician (Microsoft / Active Directory / O365 )

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft environments, including Active Directory administration, Office 365 management, Azure user and device configuration, Backup, Documentation and desktop support. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth IT operations, provide end-user technical assistance, and maintain system reliability and security across our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices via direct, email, call .
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD) — user accounts, groups, GPOs, password policies, and permissions.
  • Administer and support Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Assist in Azure AD and Intune setup, identity management, and device enrollment.
  • Handle email configurations, data/cloud backups, and access management.
  • Monitor and resolve incidents via the IT helpdesk system, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Support network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, VPN).
  • Perform regular system updates, antivirus monitoring, and security patching.
  • Support VoIP phones / IP PBX systems
  • Document configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the IT Team for infrastructure upgrades and migrations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in IT Support / System Administration / Network.
  • Strong knowledge of:

o Windows 10/11 & Windows Servers (2016/2019/2022)

o Microsoft 365 Administration

o Active Directory / Azure AD / Intune

o Networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP, WAN etc)

  • Experience in Microsoft Azure portal management is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications preferred:

o Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator / Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) / MCSA / MS-900.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Currently based in UAE or available for immediate joining.
  • Previous experience supporting Microsoft-centric corporate environments.
  • Fluent in English;
  • Possession of a UAE driving license is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
