IT System & Cloud Administrator

We are seeking a full-time IT Systems & Cloud Administrator to manage, secure, and develop the company’s IT infrastructure.

The role includes maintaining day-to-day IT operations, supporting engineering teams, and leading the transition from local file storage to a secure cloud-based server environment.

The ideal candidate must ensure system stability, structured data management, cybersecurity protection, and smooth cloud migration with minimal disruption to operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure Management

· Manage and maintain office network (LAN, Wi-Fi, firewall, switches, etc.)

· Maintain Windows-based systems and user accounts

· Ensure stable internet connectivity and network performance

· Secure remote access for remote workers

2. Server & Data Management

· Maintain structured project-based file system

· Manage user permissions and access control

· Monitor system performance and storage capacity

· Implement and monitor automated backup systems

· Ensure zero data loss and data integrity

3. Cloud Server Implementation & Migration

· Assess current local server environment

· Recommend suitable cloud solution

· Design and implement cloud-based file storage solution

· Plan and execute full migration of company data to the cloud

· Restructure project folders before migration if required

· Ensure minimal downtime during transition

· Configure secure access, multi-factor authentication, and permissions

· Implement cloud backup and disaster recovery plan

· Train employees on proper cloud usage and file handling

4. Technical Support

· Provide daily IT support for staff

· Install and maintain software programs (Engineering and Design)

· Troubleshoot hardware issues (PCs, printers, meeting room systems)

· Manage IT equipment inventory

5. Cybersecurity & Risk Management

· Implement endpoint protection and antivirus systems

· Monitor system logs and security alerts

· Protect company data against ransomware and cyber threats

· Develop IT policies for data protection and password management

· Conduct regular system security checks

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

· 1–5 years of experience in IT system administration

· Proven experience with cloud platforms

· Experience in data migration for websites

· Experience supporting engineering/design offices

· Strong knowledge of:

• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• Backup and disaster recovery systems
