Job SummaryThe IT Systems Analyst is responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting IT applications and for ensuring the availability, stability, and reliability of those applications. They monitor system performance, identify, and resolve technical issues, and ensure efficient operation of all clinical systems. The analyst also provides technical support to end-users and collaborates with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems related to clinical systems.
Job RequirementsEducationPreferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
ExperienceRequired: 8+ years of experience in healthcare clinical workflows and/or IT support, including experience with nursing, provider, or ancillary department technologies OR Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field.
SkillsExceptional knowledge of inter-related solutions and IT systems knowledge with the aligned application domain. Develops and maintains knowledge of related IT systems as well as supporting business and IT domains.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration with clinical leadership and executive management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team including cross-functional teams, and external departments.
Ability to lead and mentor junior members of the department.
Strategic thinking and alignment of clinical systems with organizational goals.
Thought leadership in healthcare IT trends and innovations.
Knowledge of emerging technologies, such as telehealth, AI, and precision medicine.
