ob Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technical Support Officer to provide technical assistance and support to our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist users with hardware, software, and network-related problems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and system permissions
- Monitor and maintain IT systems and network performance
- Support email systems, Office applications, and operating systems
- Assist in IT infrastructure setup and maintenance
- Perform system updates, backups, and routine maintenance
- Log and track issues using a ticketing system
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in IT support or helpdesk role
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Strong customer service orientation
Preferred:
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.)
- Experience with IT ticketing systems
- Knowledge of basic cybersecurity practices
