IT Technician

We at Amtech Systems the largest video conferencing and AV company in Pakistan are looking for filed IT technicians to install, help with demos and provide support to staff in Karachi

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician based in Karachi who is willing and able to travel outside the city when required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining hardware/software systems, and ensuring smooth IT operations at both in-office and remote locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware (computers, printers, routers, etc.) and software applications.
• Provide technical support to staff on-site and remotely.
• Maintain network infrastructure, cabling, and wireless connectivity.
• Handle data backups, system updates, and antivirus/firewall configurations.
• Set up new workstations, user accounts, and access permissions.
• Travel to external sites for system installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and issues.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and servicing.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, networking basics, and system security.
• Experience with routers, switches, CCTV systems, and remote support tools.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be flexible to travel outside Lahore (locally or internationally if required).
• Own transport preferred (optional, depending on company policy).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
