DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Serve as the first technical point of contact for all IT related issues
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing hardware & software components of the organization's computers
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by employees
- Walk the employee through the problem-solving process
- Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriate experienced technician.
- Ensure that all systems are working properly
- Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level
- Performing tests and evaluations of new hardware
- Manage Avaya IP Office system and end-user phones
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Evaluate documented resolutions and suggest ways to prevent future problems.
- Provide accurate information on IT products or services
- Assist in and plan training, development and education for new software and hardware
- Manage expenses
- Assist in creating, deploying, managing servers
- Record events and problems and their resolution in helpdesk system
- Follow-up and update customer status and information on ticketing system
- Perform IT administration duties such as purchase requests and license management
- May be required to travel for training opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments
- Update and maintain IT organization knowledge base
- Travel to various clinic sites as needed.
- Installation of new end user devices
- All other duties as assigned by the CIO.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: Computer and Information Systems Experience Preferred
