As part of our continued growth in the Middle East, we are reinforcing our team in Saudi Arabia to support strategic projects in the Urban Mobility domain.

Role Summary

We are seeking an IT Technician to join our Mobility business unit and provide technical support for one of our key transport projects in Riyadh. This position is central to ensuring optimal performance of the IT infrastructure that supports daily operations in urban transit systems.

Reporting to the local project management team, you will manage hardware, software, and network environments, guaranteeing service quality and system continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Monitor and support IT systems, networks, and virtualized environments.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents related to software, hardware, and connectivity.
• Support deployment of new applications, updates, and system enhancements.
• Prepare technical documentation, procedures, and reports.
• Provide user assistance both on‑site and remotely.
• Manage user accounts, credentials, and access configurations.
• Conduct functional testing of software and follow test case procedures.
• Perform safety checks and preventive maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support or technical operations.
• Solid knowledge of Networking fundamentals (IP addressing, routing, switching).
• Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 administration.
• Linux command‑line operations.
• Virtualization technologies ( Oracle VM preferred ).
• PC imaging and cloning.
• SQL queries and database usage.
• Hardware diagnosis and maintenance.
• SFTP/SSH and software transfer tools.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Virtualization & Operating Systems

• VMware + Oracle Virtual Manager (OVM) – Maintenance, troubleshooting, updates, patching.
• Linux OS – Maintenance, troubleshooting.
• Windows OS – Maintenance, troubleshooting, updates, patching.

Middleware & Application Components

• WebLogic – Operational support and troubleshooting.
• HAProxy – Maintenance and problem resolution.

Databases

• Oracle Database – Basic knowledge.
• PostgreSQL – Basic knowledge.

Containerization & Clustering

• Kubernetes Cluster – MicroK8s : Maintenance, troubleshooting, updates, patching.

Networking

• Basic networking knowledge (IP/VLAN/firewalling) – Troubleshooting capabilities.

• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, CRM, or ticketing/voice systems.
