Job Title: IT First Responder / IT Support Specialist

Job Summary:
Memphis Pool is seeking a dependable and knowledgeable IT First Responder to serve as the first line of support for our technology needs. This role is responsible for troubleshooting day-to-day IT issues, supporting business-critical systems, and ensuring smooth operation of our network, hardware, and software environments. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable working across a variety of technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all internal IT support requests
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with external vendors or advanced IT support for any or all of the following....
  • Provide support for Microsoft Server environments and Active Directory
  • Manage and support Microsoft 365 (Office 365), including user accounts, email, and permissions
  • Support and maintain Counterpoint Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Assist with system updates, backups, and basic cybersecurity practices
  • Document issues, resolutions, and IT procedures
  • Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or similar role
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Server environments
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration
  • Familiarity with Counterpoint POS system (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Ability to troubleshoot Windows-based systems and common business applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with retail or POS environments
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
  • Familiarity with backup systems and disaster recovery concepts
