Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Technician to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be the frontline support for our organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems. Your expertise will help maintain a secure, efficient, and reliable technological environment, empowering our teams and students to perform at their best. This position offers an exciting opportunity to troubleshoot technical issues, implement solutions, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our IT services.

Responsibilites:

  • Provide technical support to end-users across various departments, resolving hardware and software issues promptly and effectively
  • Troubleshoot software problems, including applications on Windows, macOS, and other operating systems
  • Manage computer hardware components such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
  • Maintain and support computer networks
  • Configure and manage security tools like firewalls, network devices, and Active Directory to safeguard organizational data
  • Support IT infrastructure by deploying updates and managing Windows Server environments
  • Assist with ticketing systems to track issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Perform routine maintenance on computer hardware and software to optimize performance
  • Support remote connectivity solutions including VPNs and remote desktop access for mobile or off-site users
  • Collaborate with network administrators on network administration tasks and streamline administrative processes and troubleshooting
  • Document technical procedures and maintain detailed records of incidents

Experience

  • Proven experience in providing IT support in a fast-paced environment with a focus on inhouse support with employee and students
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11/Server) and macOS
  • Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts such as troubleshooting, VPN setup, firewall configuration, and network security best practices
  • Familiarity with enterprise management tools for software deployment and updates
  • Experience managing Active Directory environments for user account management and permissions control
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues related to computer hardware components and peripherals
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
  • Analysis skills for diagnosing complex technical problems quickly and accurately
