You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our most critical international IT vendors—from cloud hyperscalers and global SaaS providers to offshore development and managed service partners. You will ensure our global vendor relationships are agile, cost-effective, compliant, and fully aligned with our business objectives across diverse regions.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Global Sourcing:
Lead the selection, negotiation, and onboarding of new international IT vendors. Develop and implement a global vendor strategy that supports scalability and geographic requirements.

Holistic Vendor Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary executive relationship manager for key global vendors. Conduct regular strategic business reviews (QBRs/ABRs) to ensure performance, innovation, and roadmap alignment.

Complex Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate and administer master agreements, statements of work (SOWs), and service level agreements (SLAs) with a focus on international terms (data sovereignty, cross-border data transfer, local regulatory compliance, currency, tax implications).

Performance & Risk Governance:
Establish and monitor global KPIs and SLAs. Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to vendor financial health, geopolitical factors, service delivery, and security across regions.

Cost Optimization & Value Realization:
Drive significant cost savings and avoidances through spend analysis, demand management, and contract consolidation. Build a clear ROI framework for vendor partnerships.

Cross-Functional Leadership:
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Information Security, and regional business leaders to ensure a cohesive and compliant vendor management framework worldwide.

Mentor and guide a team of vendor management professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of
8+ years
of progressive experience in IT vendor management, strategic sourcing, or IT procurement, with at least
5 years
focused on managing complex,
international vendor relationships
.

Proven track record of negotiating and managing multi-million dollar, multi-year contracts with global IT vendors (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google, SAP, Oracle, major systems integrators).

Deep understanding of international legal and regulatory landscapes affecting IT (e.g., GDPR, Schrems II, local data privacy laws, export controls).

Exceptional financial acumen with experience in complex pricing models, cost-benefit analysis, and budgeting.
