We are seeking a skilled and passionate Italian Cuisine Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing authentic Italian dishes, maintaining high food quality standards, and ensuring excellent kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, risotto, sauces, and other traditional specialties.
- Develop and maintain menu items in line with restaurant standards.
- Ensure food preparation and presentation meet quality and hygiene standards.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow food safety and HACCP guidelines at all times.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on menu planning and new recipes.
- Control food costs and minimize waste.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Italian Cuisine Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of authentic Italian cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Experience in preparing fresh pasta, pizza, sauces, and Italian desserts.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Culinary certification or relevant qualification is preferred.
