The Enterprise Portfolio Manager (EPM) position oversees the Enterprise Program Manager Office (ePMO) process implementation and ensures that information concerning content (e.g., deliverables, risks, issues, resource management, etc.) passes to and from sponsors. The incumbent is deeply involved in improving the consistency, predictability, and efficiency of the organization project delivery capability. The EPM provides leadership in best practices and is highly customer focused outward and upward and that project delivery is consistent with customer expectations. The EPM must also ensure that the operational issues of the PMO are managed, focusing on the project interface with project leaders, project teams, technology, sponsors, and stakeholders. The EPM oversees projects costs and makes sure they are well managed, monitors cost/timeline performance for each project in the portfolio and ascertains that funding/billing/quality activities are performed efficiently and timely from a project management point of view.
In addition to experience in Enterprise Portfolio Project operational service delivery, the successful candidate will have background in business process improvement, relationship management and organizational change management. This combination of experience and talent must be accompanied by excellent communication and organizational skills.
