Job Description:
Airbus Americas, Inc is looking for an IT/OT Specialist to join our team based in Mobile, AL. There will also be a future opening in Kinston, NC.
You will be part of a team ensuring the technical readiness of the Information Technologies (IT) within the Operational Technologies (OT) deployed in the Mobile Manufacturing Site.
This includes production machinery with PC's, Smart Tools and machines connected to the network, Industrial PC’s hosting SCADA/HMI, and other manufacturing equipment containing information technologies which are maintained by the Industrial Maintenance teams within the Mobile Manufacturing Site.(This position is NOT responsible for the maintenance of the machines and/or equipment).
The IT in OT Mission is to Bridge the Physical & Digital: AIRBUS Industrial system relies on proprietary OT systems that are increasingly connected to IT networks, introducing new vulnerabilities; Cyber Security Risk: without dedicated oversight, OT systems are exposed to IT-borne threats like ransomware, which can halt production; and Operational Continuity: An "IT in OT" specialist acts as the first line of defense, minimizing Mean Time To Recovery (MTTR) during digital outages. Move to Preventive Maintenance Tasks.
Meet the Team:
Our Engineers at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facility take our aircraft from concept to customer delivery – working with production teams on every aspect of assembly from managing technical information, quality control, maintenance tasks and health & safety – along flowlines and flightlines. Join our team and watch our aircraft come to life.
Your Working Environment:
On ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus’ strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.
How We Care for You:
