We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as ITSO for UK Process Orchestration Service applications and possess deep knowledge of ITSO responsibilities.
- Coordinating technology teams/pods in managing incidents and problems. Analysing incidents to identify root cause trends.
- Monitor key control indicators (KCIs) to track the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts and report to management.
- Provide support on initiatives to drive improvements to the Technology control environment, including the effective design of material controls.
- Working with technology teams/pods to devise action plans to prevent incident re-occurrence. Ensure all prod incidents raised to L3 are addressed within required SLAs
- Manage the reporting of progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to committees and make recommendations to influence decision making to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realization. Service Governance for Compliance, Regulatory and Cyber Risks.
- Participation in Architecture Review and Governance. Service Compliance for OS Patching, Vulnerabilities and Evergreening Issues. Participation and Lead Major Incidents. Participation In Post Incident Reviews.
- Incident, Change, Problem and Capacity review and governance. Infrastructure Reviews. Application and Infrastructure optimization. Service Improvement via toil removal. Certificate ownership and governance. Stakeholder Management. Service Resiliency reviews and governance. Act as interface between Production Engineering and Application teams.
- As roles demands, service management, the candidate will have to connect with multiple stakeholders internally and externally to manage the service and software to the latest version.
- Manage activities focused on the deployment of projects from requirements gathering, system design, quality assurance, cost control and implementation planning activities as well as post implementation activities.
- Scope Management, Strategic thinking – to see a big picture and to understand if the project fits in with the organizational goals. Determine how the project impacts other business areas/projects.
- Excellent technical abilities, leadership, decision making, strong communication skills, and adaptability to new technology
- Support of an IT Service and reply to queries of stake holders from various business units and related third parties to define and document business processes and software requirements for technology initiatives, including customer/user facing products, content management systems, and business information systems.
- The candidate need to participate in code build and review activities along with requirement gathering, analysis, test and production support work.
- Knowledge of automation tool – SONAR / JENKINS would be added advantage.
- Agile Tools – JIRA, Confluence.
