The opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) fresher to join our team as a BEPS Pillar 2 Advanced Analyst. In this role, you will support our efforts in implementing the OECD's Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) Pillar 2 framework, which aims to ensure that multinational enterprises pay a minimum level of tax.
You will work closely with senior team members to analyze data, assist in advisories, compliance and processes, and contribute to the development of strategies that align with global tax regulations.
Your key responsibilities

Assist in the analysis and interpretation of BEPS Pillar 2 regulations and guidelines.

The candidate should possess a technology-driven mindset and demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt to and proficiently utilize various EY technology tools.

Prepare tax calculations related to the global minimum tax utilizing EY technology tools, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the GloBE rules.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and insights.

Conduct research on international tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance including those pertaining to BEPS Pillar 2.

Assist in the preparation of presentations and training materials for internal stakeholders.

Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and BEPS developments.

Support the senior team members in conducting tax research and analysis to identify tax compliance requirements.

Build strong internal relationships within the team and with the onshore team.

Take ownership of your schedule and proactively seek work when necessary to meet your annual chargeability goal.

Seek continuous performance feedback from Seniors and work on suggested development areas.

Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently.
Skills and attributes for success

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (fresher)

Intermediate understanding of tax principles and regulations, particularly in relation to international taxation.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
