Indiana University Health has an exciting opportunity for a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant at IU Health Arnett Hospital at located in Lafayette, IN.

Opportunity Details:

• Full time opportunity
• Day shift, Tuesday - Monday, 7AM - 7 PM
• Every other week off
• No Call
• Observation, Med Surg, and Progressive levels of care
• Join a team of 30 Physicians and 8 APPs
• Will work with 8-10 hospitalists per week and 2 Hospitalist APPs per week during day shift
• Will treat adult, geriatric, acute and serious health condition patients.
• Collaborative, positive and patient focused culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing initial assessments on new admissions and ICU downgrades
• Advising physicians on new admissions, downgrades, and current Obs patients
• Rounding on Obs patients
• Discharging Obs patients

Qualifications:

• Master's degree required.
• Must be an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner ACNP or Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner AGNP or Family Nurse Practitioner FNP or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Will consider experienced or a new graduate.
• Certified/Eligible and Indiana License or eligible
