Janitor

Do you have experience cleaning industrial/commercial facilities? Join our manufacturing team as a Janitor, and you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of custodial tasks to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Clean restrooms
• Gather and empty trash throughout manufacturing facility
• Bale trash
• Clean breakrooms
• Sweep, mop, scrub and/ or vacuum floors
• Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies throughout the facility
• Complete cleaning and maintenance logs
• Respond to emergency situations, perform cleaning as needed
• Perform other custodial duties as required

Requirements:

• 1+ year of janitorial experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment required
• Able to speak and understand English, Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese a plus
• Consistent and predictable attendance
• Able to stand and walk throughout 10-hour shift
• Able to reach, push, pull and lift throughout 10-hour shift
• Able to regularly walk up and down staircases
• Willing and able to follow all safety rules and PPE requirements
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50 pounds multiple times throughout shift
• Occasionally work in outdoor environments in a variety of weather conditions
• Able to work independently
• High school diploma or GED
