Job Summary

We are seeking a (Part-time, 20–25 hours per week, 5 days per week) dependable and detail-oriented Janitor / Facilities Cleaner to maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization across multiple warehouse, industrial, and office facilities in our Novato and Petaluma buildings. This is an in-house, part-time position supporting daily operations and ensuring a clean, sanitary, and professional environment for employees and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling and dispose of waste properly
• Perform general cleaning in warehouse and light industrial spaces
• Restock janitorial and restroom supplies as needed
• Clean high-touch areas, doors, windows, walls, and fixtures
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply shortages
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and OMW workplace regulations
• Secure buildings at the end of shifts when required

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or facilities cleaning experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work in both office and warehouse/industrial environments

Work Environment

• Combination of office and warehouse settings
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals (training and PPE provided in compliance with Cal/OSHA standards)

Compensation & Employment Details

• Hourly, non-exempt position
• Overtime paid in accordance with California labor laws
• Meal and rest periods provided in compliance with California regulations
