Janitor/Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This role is vital in ensuring that our workspaces are clean, organized, and well-maintained to support productivity and safety. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, common areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and equipment such as buffers and floor care machines.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal throughout the facility.
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of large areas and specialized equipment maintenance.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities such as window washing, carpet cleaning, and minor repairs as needed.
• Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly.
• Use commercial cleaning products safely and effectively to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of equipment.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing is highly desirable.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and procedures is a plus.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.

Pay: $22.50 per hour
